Jogyesa Temple is a head temple of Jogye Order Buddhist order.
I was fortunate to visit the temple during the celebration of the Budda's birthday and see the brightly laterns that were part of the celebration. Seeing this celebration was pure luck as I had no idea that it was going on and chancing upon it was one of those unxexpected surprises that makes travel rewarding. The thousands of brightly colored laterns make for an impressive display.
